Fish Curry

Ingredients:

  • 10- 15 pieces fish (marinated with turmeric, salt, chili powder, fry in mustard oil and keep aside)
  • 2-3 tablespoon yogurt
  • 2 teaspoon coriander powder
  • to taste red chili powder
  • a pinch of turmeric
  • 8-9 pieces crushed garlic - paste
  • 1 teaspoon methi seeds
  • 1 stem kariya patta
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 onion - paste
  • 1 tomato - paste
  • 2-3 table spoon mustard oil
  • salt to taste

Procedure:

  • In a pan, heat mustard oil. Add methi seeds, kariya patta. When the seeds splutter
  • Add garlic paste, onion paste. Cook for 5 min, and add tomato paste. Add the spices, salt, turmeric, chili and coriander powder
  • Simmer for 5-10 min. Add yogurt and simmer for 2-3 min. Add some lemon juice for flavor.
  • Add fried fish. Cover and simmer for 5-7 min.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves.
