Prawns: de-veined and shell removed
Potato: 2-3 ( cut long pieces)
Turmeric: to taste or (half tea spoon)
Chili powder: to taste
Salt: to taste
Onion: 1 big (chop long pieces)
Tomato: 2 medium ( chop small pieces)
Oil:2-3 table spoon
Green chili - 2-3 (based on spice tolerance)
Coriander leaves
Procedure:
- Marinate prawns with turmeric, chili powder and salt.
- Fry prawns till half done and remove them, keep aside.
- In a big pan, add oil, add chopped onion, fry till golden. Add salt, pinch of turmeric, and chopped 2-3 chilies.. Add tomatoes. Simmer for 2 min.
- Add potatoes and let simmer for about 10 min till almost 3/4th done. At this point add fried prawns.
- Add some water to desired consistency. I just add a cup or two. Simmer for 5- 10 min till done.
- Garnish with coriander leaves.
